Privacy Policy
Effective January 1, 2008
Federal law requires us to provide you with this notice of our policy concerning your
“Non-public personal information” or ‘NPI’. NPI includes information we will maintain
and use in the course of our relationship with you that is not available in general public
circulation. Some examples of NPI are: Social Security number(s), date(s) of birth,
financial account numbers and details related to your assets, liabilities and income.
In order to fulfill our contracted services as efficiently and accurately as possible,
it is imperative we collect your NPI. We will collect such information on applications,
questionnaires and other forms as necessary. In addition to the examples listed above, we
will collect transactional activity on your accounts (including balances and trading activity)
and your investment goals and risk tolerance.
Lucid Advisors, Inc.® understands that you have entrusted us with information often considered

confidential personal information to only those employees that need to know the information in
order to carry out our services and responsibilities to you. Our employees are bound by a
code of ethics which demands confidential handling of all client information. Disciplinary
action will be taken if employees are found to be violating the code.
Externally, our policy is to never sell any personal information with third-parties whether
affiliated or not, and we will never share any personal information except in situations where
one or more of the following apply:
- In the regular course of carrying out our responsibilities to you as an advisor or consultant, we
may disclose your NPI to entities with which you maintain or desire to maintain a financial
relationship including, but not limited to, brokerage firms, trust companies,
insurance companies, banks and investment companies. These companies will often already
have access to the same information and may as a routine procedure ask us to verify certain of
your personal information for their access and security policies.
- In the course of carrying out our responsibilities to you as an advisor or consultant, we may
disclose your NPI with other advisors, consultants or service providers that you designate, or that
we may refer you to, including, but not limited to, brokers, accountants, attorneys, actuaries, or
administrators. This disclosure will never occur on a basis unsolicited by you and without
your tacit consent.
- We will disclose your NPI to proper authorities when compelled to by a court order or similar
instruction from a legal authority or regulatory agency such as the Securities and Exchange
Commission (SEC), Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or Financial Industry Regulatory
Authority (FINRA).
